Caries management at the lesion level is dependent on activity, presence of a cavitation (either cleanable or non-cleanable), and depth as evaluated via radiographic examination. A variety non-invasive, micro-invasive, minimally invasive treatment (with without restoration) options are available for primary permanent teeth. Non-invasive strategies include oral hygiene instructions, dietary counseling, personal well professional use fluoridated products that reduce demineralization increase re-mineralization. Micro-invasive procedures occlusal resin sealants infiltrants, while comprise those related to selective removal caries tissues placement restorations. Deep includes indirect pulp capping, exposed may be treated using direct capping partial complete pulpotomy. The aim present study was review evidence recommended preventive restorative lesions in Latin American/Caribbean countries, subsequently develop evidence-based recommendations take into consideration material availability, emphasize ways adapt treatments local context, suggest which dentists health systems can adopt these treatments.
